The Social Work Program offers off campus programs at the Slave Lake Campus of AVC Lesser Slave Lake. The program also offered courses at the Grouard Campus between 1982 and 1998.

Graduates from the SWP are eligible to apply to the BSW program to continue their studies.

Faculty of Social Work, University of Victoria
In the Fall of '99, the SWP will be offering Social Work 304 (practicum I & II) and Social Work 402 (practicum II) to disatnce students enrolled in the University of Victoria distance delivered BSW program.

Sociaal Pedagogishce Hulpverlening (Social Care Educational Care) Nijmegen Hogeschool, Holland.
Students in the SWP can apply to attend the Social Educational Care Program in Mijmegen during the their third trimester of studies. During the Fall of '99, four GMCC social work students will be studying in Holland.

The Nechi Training and Research Institute
The SWP and the Nechi institute collaborate on continuing education initiatives; the Nechi Institute delivers addictions training to SWP students, focussing on the needs of First Nation Communities.
